I had one full bathroom renovation and a partial renovation done by Distinctive Bathrooms & Kitchens, working with Kelly as the designer. I was very pleased with the experience. The design was efficient and, mostly importantly, the workers arrived as scheduled and there was communication throughout about who would be doing what when. Very refreshing compared to other contractors! We also have beautiful results.

DBK replaced the shower in my ensuite bathroom. The work was completed on schedule we are very pleased with the outcome. A few weeks later I had a minor issue with a rust stain. Contacted DBK on a Monday and by Friday the issue was rectified. I must say that this is the best after sales service I have ever received from any contractor I have dealt with. I would not hesitate to recommend DBK.

We contracted with Distinctive Bathrooms and Kitchens to do a ensuite bathroom reno. The work was completed between mid March and mid April 2023. We were very happy with all aspects of the project, from the pre work planning sessions with our very talented designer Emily Meechan to all aspects of the workmanship and communication. Sheilagh’s project management communication was exceptional, as was Dan’s exquisite shower tile work and Ray and Joel’s general contacting skills that attended to our every request. What a team they were. Our sincere thanks. We would not hesitate to use Distinctive again for our home reno needs.

This is an update to my initial review (see below for first review). Last summer we had our kitchen renovated. As you can imagine we were anxious about the amount of time it would take. We went to see Kelly again for the design and consultation and she reassured us to not stress over this. As with our bathroom designs, the process was very smooth with Kelly and she helped us keep costs down. Sheilagh the PM was very responsive and Michel and the reno crew were efficient, polite and did excellent work. Believe it or now, we had a functioning kitchen after 3 weeks! With the professional help of Kelly Ouellette had our small corner shower removed and replaced with a beautiful 36″ x 60″ shower. Kelly helped us with choices of tiles etc. Service was polite and courteous with work being done in precisely time and schedule. Workers were always on time. Very happy with experience.

The DBK Team was completely professional and wonderful to deal with. From the first meeting with our consultant to the numerous planning sessions, questions, revisions to the last day when they finished the project and the crew left, we could not be any happier. As soon as we met our designer Kelly, we knew we wanted to work with her. She was amazing, knowledgeable, patient and fun to work with. Came up with a design we hadn’t considered and went with hers. Thrilled we did. Loved the weekly schedules so we knew what was coming. Everyone involved always answered our questions patiently. Every person in the crew we met was lovely.
