We had our bathroom completely renovated in January with Distinctive. Our consultant was Kelly, a very friendly, knowledgeable young woman. Kelly listened to our ideas and needs and provided excellent advice to help us come up with a design. She met with us several times providing worksheets on products and reminding us if we were going over budget. We were extremely satisfied with the workmanship and timeline, resulting in a beautiful bathroom. We would highly recommend Distinctive and Kelly as your consultant.

We are absolutely thrilled with our new kitchen!!! Every time we walk into the room we’re amazed at how beautiful it is, how functional it is and how it’s exactly what we wanted and more!! Thank you to the whole team: Tanya Letourneau’s fantastic design magic, Dominic and Tania Galloway managing the project, Veronica managing the financials and Kim and Dawson and all the other trades people who made the plans a reality that we get to enjoy for many years to come!! DBK did a partial bathroom reno for us several years ago and we loved it and we immediately went to them for our full kitchen reno! We highly recommend DBK!!

As soon as we met our designer Kelly, we knew we wanted to work with her. She was amazing, knowledgeable, patient and fun to work with. Came up with a design we hadn’t considered and went with hers. Thrilled we did. Loved the weekly schedules so we knew what was coming. Everyone involved always answered our questions patiently. Every person in the crew we met was lovely. I had a great experience with Distinctive Bathrooms and kitchen. From my first meeting with designer Kelly I knew I was in good hands. She listened to my concerns and my style ideas then guided me through the process of picking out all products for my bathroom renovation as well as answering all my construction related questions with confidence. DBK supplied and installed my bathroom on time and within budget. The installers were patient with me when I had questions and took the time to answer thoroughly.

Huguette and I had our kitchen and three bathrooms completely renovated. Sara Akra was our designer for all the projects and we were very pleased with the design and results. Thanks also to the excellent team of coordinators, schedulers and workers who were in our home for 7 weeks until completion. We knew everyone by name and are very pleased with the high standards and excellent workmanship the workers displayed at all times.

This is an update to my initial review (see below for first review). Last summer we had our kitchen renovated. As you can imagine we were anxious about the amount of time it would take. We went to see Kelly again for the design and consultation and she reassured us to not stress over this. As with our bathroom designs, the process was very smooth with Kelly and she helped us keep costs down. Sheilagh the PM was very responsive and Michel and the reno crew were efficient, polite and did excellent work. Believe it or now, we had a functioning kitchen after 3 weeks! I want to thank the DBK Ottawa team for the successful renewal of my Kitchen. Emily (Meechan) using her talent and ability translated my general comments into a comprehensive design which included accessories, couleur scheme and cost. Emily personality made that process extremely easy for me. Them, Kim, and Dennis took Emily’s plans and started the installation process. I was surprised to see my kitchen appearing under my eyes. throw-out the project I could appreciate Kim’s experience and workmanships. I realize that the successful completion of the project also needed people to manage the logistic of the project. Their dedication made sure that materials arrived promptly and the efforts of various trades were well coordinated. It is the second time that I use DBK for kitchen renovations and I am happy with my decision both times.
